Dreamfree - Peter Sandrovitch & Thomas Farnon Feat. Sara Davey
Music by Thomas Farnon, Words by Peter Sandrovitch
Produced by - Thomas Farnon & Peter Sandrovitch
Dreamfree was recorded live in the musical home of the Beatles Abbey Road studios in April 2019. It is a lullaby I specifically created along with composer Thomas Farnon to help children and parents find peace while their babies are sleeping in their beds and cots.
Dreamfree words are extremely therapeutic and move throughout the song as serenly as water flows. Written and produced within 1 month compared to the masterpiece that is Orpheus Vigil which took over 9 months from start to finish and was over 5 years in total of designing.
Dreamfree was a very natural song to write with pure love and has a top class production, featuring an array of the finest musicians in the country in a 17 piece orchestra including 2 harpists which is very rare. To have the song made in Abbey Road was magical and I can only hope that John Lennon himself would have enjoyed the result as much as any of the listeners Dreamfree finds its way too.
The ending of Dreamfree is something I am particular proud of ... as the song drifts off to sleepytime for the child with a hush-a-bye and love you whispered so quietly is most touching. Incidentally Dreamfree is only mentioned once in the song. It is a word I created to fit the piece and not in the English Dictionary.
